My big birthday present this year was a large gift card to Home Depot. Mom, Dad, my brother and sister-in-law all chipped in. My campus had its Christmas party yesterday. I completely forgot about it, didn't bring anything for the potluck or anything for the white elephant gift exchange, but that wasn't a problem. I've been having the worst luck with travel these days. Every time I need to drive more than 20 miles, the weather has been abysmal. I've spent most of my recent free time working on a jigsaw puzzle, an early Christmas present I got. I know I know, I don't get it either. Being quasi-snowbound is partially a factor.
